The harmony of the fruit and lightness of this champagne offers a complexity that will be easily tamed by the most experienced palates. Pure and delicate, this Champagne Rosé translates with distinction the approach taken by the de Rothschild family in the elaboration of its wines: the concern for perfection, consistency, with a spirit of refinement and excellence that are the object of the greatest attention.
A pale pink color with salmon hues and a fine effervescence.
On the nose
Dominant in this wine, Chardonnay stands out for its beautiful minerality and aromas of fresh fruit, citrus and white flowers. On opening, notes of raspberry, rose petal and wild strawberry reveal the subtle presence of Pinot Noir.
In the mouth
The attack on the palate is fresh, precise and silky-textured, with tangy notes of lemon and citrus. Notes of red fruit and small berries such as blackberry and redcurrant follow, revealing a crisp wine sublimated by a long, mineral finish.
This cuvée goes particularly well with umami-flavored Asian or Japanese cuisine. It will enhance sushi, sashimi or tuna tartar, as well as truffled veal or roasted lamb. A perfect accompaniment to low-sugar desserts such as red fruit soup.
Between 8 and 10 °C.
Like all wines, champagne can be kept for varying lengths of time, depending on the type. Under optimal storage conditions, champagne can be kept for 1 to 2 years for Brut cuvées, and up to 4/5 years or even longer for vintage and prestige champagnes. Whatever happens, rest assured that you'll never be able to open your champagne too early, as the Champagne Houses only release their cuvées when they have reached perfect ripeness and are ready for immediate consumption.
