The lively, passionate exchange that has now developed into a true friendship laid the foundations for this minimalist cuv\u00e9e bursting with life. This fourth opus expresses in its own way, both singular and faithful to the fundamentals of Brut Nature, the very winemaker’s identity of a champagne wine that draws its authenticity and originality from a gesture as precise and incisive as it is free and emotional.
This cuv\u00e9e is the fruit of a new exploration of the Cumi\u00e8res terroir, a sunny clay hillside bathed in sunlight, and in particular of three contiguous plots – Les Pierreuses, Les Ch\u00e8vres, Les Clos – once grazing land. The cold, clayey soils, which contrast with the chalky Champagne soil, offer ideal ripeness and superior vibrancy in the warmest years, forming a lovely contrast between the intensity of the fruit and the salinity characteristic of Brut Nature.
