Veuve Clicquot celebrates its 250th anniversary. The year 2022 illustrates 250 years of history of unique know-how, a culture of innovation and an iconic yellow, which has been used on the labels of its bottles since 1877. To celebrate this milestone, the House is launching a new international advertising campaign, “250 of solaire culture”, a contemporary interpretation of the brand’s iconic yellow.
2022 will mark the 250th anniversary of the House of Veuve Clicquot. A year to celebrate more than two centuries of know-how and solarity, carried by its iconic yellow colour, stamped on its label since 1877. For this occasion, the House invites you to board a legendary train, the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, for an exceptional journey through time from 5 to 7 June 2022.
From sunrise in Reims to sunset in Venice
Your journey will begin at sunrise in Reims, with a visit of Les Crayères of the House of Veuve Clicquot and continue with a tasting of the most exclusive cuvées with the Maison’s Cellar Master, Didier Mariotti. The journey then continues to the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, A Belmond Train, Europe, for a timeless experience. A Champagne and food pairing will be served on board. The next day, at dawn, you can watch the sunrise over the Alps from your cabin or in the morning light of the Innsbruck station. Upon arrival in Venice, a boat will take you to the Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel, Venice, located on the island of Giudecca. The closing dinner at sunset will conclude this unique and exclusive journey.
