The purity and radiance of the Chardonnay grape enhance this exceptional champagne. Pure, delicate and complex, this cuvée reflects with distinction the approach taken by the Rothschild family in the elaboration of its wines: the commitment to perfection and consistency, with a spirit of refinement and excellence that are the focus of the greatest attention. The Blanc de Blancs Barons de Rothschild asserts its finesse through its blend of the greatest Chardonnays of Champagne. Chardonnay is the signature of the refined and daring style that distinguishes the de Rothschild family’s passion for this grape variety in Champagne. This luminous golden Champagne reveals fresh fruit and ripe citrus notes on the nose with an inimitable sparkle, delicate bubbles. The Magnum format is a large 1.5 litres bottle, which represents 2 bottles of champagne or 12 glasses. This large format is ideal for your receptions and special occasions.
    To the eye

The Blanc de Blancs is characterised by its crystalline golden yellow colour that reveals a fine foam and a persistent string of delicate bubbles.

    On the nose

The Chardonnay grape variety is particularly distinctive in this cuvée with very intense and pure aromas. The nose, dominated by citrus fruits, is combined with aromatic hints of fresh almonds and dried fruits.

    In the mouth

The attack is precise and clean, followed by a silky freshness supported by notes of citrus and white fruits. The creamy sensation of fine bubbles is combined with a subtle and persistent saline character.

    Food & champagne pairings

Chardonnay develop all its authenticity and purity, which can be enjoyed at any time of the day.

    Ideal operating temperature

To appreciate all its finesse and aromas, champagne should be enjoyed chilled (but not iced). Depending on the cuvée, the ideal serving temperature is between 8 and 12°C.

    Potential of keeping

Like all wines, champagne can be kept for varying lengths of time, depending on the type. Under optimal storage conditions, champagne can be kept for 1 to 2 years for Brut cuvées, and up to 4/5 years or even longer for vintage and prestige champagnes. Whatever happens, rest assured that you'll never be able to open your champagne too early, as the Champagne Houses only release their cuvées when they have reached perfect ripeness and are ready for immediate consumption.

    Assembly :
This cuvée is exclusively made with Chardonnays from the main growths of the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger and Vertus. 40% of reserve wines are used in the blend, an exceptional know-how of the Barons de Rothschild Champagne House, which makes it a major asset in the ability to recompose a constant blend each year.
    Vinification :
At least three years of ageing in the cellar. The very low dosage of this wine and its long ageing after disgorgement (6 to 9 months) give it its maturity.
    Dosage :
    6 g/liter
