Barons de RothschildRare Collection Blanc de Blancs 2014 Magnum (1.5L) | Box
The prestige cuvée Barons de Rothschild Rare Collection Blanc de Blancs 2014 magnum with luxury box, produced in very limited quantities, expresses the quintessence of the Barons de Rothschild style. This champagne is the perfect harmony of freshness and character.
The 2014 vintage: Marked by a mild, wet winter followed by a very dry spring, 2014 proved to be full of surprises and climatic contrasts. After a summer characterised by abundant rainfall and cool temperatures, the late arrival of warm weather in September was decisive in finalising the ripening of the grapes. Although the quantity of grapes harvested was small, the 2014 vintage revealed exceptional concentration and finesse.
A lovely pale gold colour with crystalline highlights.
On the nose
The bewitching freshness of the apricot and nectarine aromas gradually gives way to a beautiful chalky minerality. Notes of toasted almond, lightly toasted bread and praline add to the complexity of this seductive nose.
In the mouth
The fresh, full attack, driven by a saline minerality, opens up to aromas of preserved lemon and nectarine. The characteristic texture of this cuvée lasts a long time on the palate, culminating in a spicy, roasted finish.
This great Champagne wine will sublimate any gastronomic moment and accompany the flavours of the most refined dishes. It is the perfect accompaniment to squid with its crunchy vegetables and lemony broth, lightly spiced poultry supremes or a veal medallion with morel mushrooms.
Serve between 10 and 12 °C.
