Carte d'Or
The Cuvée Carte d’Or is the expression of the Drappier style: power, complexity and freshness. The predominance of Pinot Noir in the blend offers an expressive champagne with a great aromatic richness.
The Salomon format is a large 18 litres bottle, which represents 24 bottles of champagne or 144 glasses. This large format is ideal for your receptions and special occasions.
Tasting Notes
The Champagne Drappier Carte d'Or colour is a rich gold, sometimes coppery. No vinification technique is used to modify the natural colour of the Cuvée.
The bouquet of rosehip flowers quickly gives way to aromas of stone fruits such as white peach from the vines. A touch of spice announces a powerful and complex mouth.
The natural freshness is barely enhanced by a subtle dosage that ensures a long finish. While maturing, the Carte d'Or will surprise you with notes of gingerbread, candied fruits and pastries.
Food pairings
Ideal as an aperitif or to pair with fish and white meats.
