Barons de Rothschild Champagne Rare Collection Rosé 2012 Magnum with luxury box is produced in very limited quantities and benefits from the same care as the Rothschild Family’s finest wines. Since the creation of the Maison de Champagne in 2005, the Rothschild family has set up in Champagne with excellence as its sole ambition. Less than a year later, the creation of an exceptional cuvée under the sign of a great vintage, like the wines of their greatest Châteaux, completes its foundations. Presented in a solid walnut box, Barons de Rothschild Rare Collection Rosé 2012 is a precious object made of noble wood. Like the wood from which it is made, each box is unique, with its own grain and nuances of color. A sign of a top-of-the-range gift, it can be preserved and become a useful objet d’art for any lover of fine things. Made in Europe with the environment in mind, the Luxe box comes from sustainably managed forests. For each box produced, a tree is planted. The Magnum format is a large bottle with a capacity of 1.5 liters, which represents 2 bottles of champagne or 12 glasses. This large format is ideal for your receptions, dinners and special occasions.

Vintage 2012: From freezing to scorching, the 2012 wine year was marked by a long winter, followed by a cool spring with little sunshine. After hail and torrential rain until the end of July, the warmth of August miraculously saved the 2012 Vintage. The harvest was small in quantity but of rare and exceptional quality, making this Vintage one of the best of its century.
    To the eye

A brilliant robe with copper highlights and a fine effervescence.

    On the nose

The finesse of Chardonnay combines with the structure and power of Pinot Noir. Toasty notes of spice and vanilla evoke the partial vinification in barrels. Opening reveals pear aromas and the freshness of Chardonnay.

    In the mouth

The full, light, lemony attack brings tension and crispness, revealing a wine of beautiful verticality. The persistent finish is supported by great complexity and beautiful bitters.

    Food & champagne pairings

This great Champagne wine is the perfect match for a rosé duck breast or a venison in grand veneur sauce. Its structure will also sublimate slightly spicy Asian or Oriental dishes.

    Ideal operating temperature

To be consumed between 8 and 10 °C.

    Potential of keeping

This wine has excellent ageing potential.
