The Cuvée Carte d’Or is the expression of the Drappier style: power, complexity and freshness. The predominance of Pinot Noir in the blend offers an expressive champagne with a great aromatic richness. The Methuselah format is a large 6 litres bottle, which represents 8 bottles of champagne or 48 glasses. This large format is ideal for your receptions and special occasions.

The yellow and gold label, created in 1952, is the distinctive sign of a rich, fresh, gourmet wine.
    To the eye

The Champagne Drappier Carte d'Or colour is a rich gold, sometimes coppery. No vinification technique is used to modify the natural colour of the Cuvée.

    On the nose

The bouquet of rosehip flowers quickly gives way to aromas of stone fruits such as white peach from the vines. A touch of spice announces a powerful and complex mouth.

    In the mouth

The natural freshness is barely enhanced by a subtle dosage that ensures a long finish. While maturing, the Carte d'Or will surprise you with notes of gingerbread, candied fruits and pastries.

    Food & champagne pairings

Ideal as an aperitif or to pair with fish and white meats.

    Ideal operating temperature

To appreciate all its finesse and aromas, champagne should be enjoyed chilled (but not iced). Depending on the cuvée, the ideal serving temperature is between 8 and 12°C.

    Potential of keeping

Like all wines, champagne can be kept for varying lengths of time, depending on the type. Under optimal storage conditions, champagne can be kept for 1 to 2 years for Brut cuvées, and up to 4/5 years or even longer for vintage and prestige champagnes. Whatever happens, rest assured that you'll never be able to open your champagne too early, as the Champagne Houses only release their cuvées when they have reached perfect ripeness and are ready for immediate consumption.

    Assembly :
90% Pinot Noir, 7% Chardonnay, 3% Pinot Meunier.
The blend expresses all the aromas of the famous black grape with white juice. It is sought after for its structure but also for its characteristic notes of red fruit with spicy accents.

    6,5 g/liter
