Laurent-PerrierCollection Reserves Brut Vintage 1997 Magnum (1.5L) | Wooden Case
To reveal the work of Nature and the exceptional know-how of the Laurent-Perrier teams, the House unveils its “Reserves” collection that has been waiting in the cellars for nearly 25 years. The Laurent-Perrier Collection Reserves Brut Vintage 1997 magnum is a rare and exceptional Champagne wine, recently disgorged to preserve the characteristic freshness of the House’s wines.
The Vintages are the choice of an exceptional year, with a particular ageing potential and oenological profile. 1997 is a very fine vintage, characterised by elegance and finesse.
The 1997 harvest: The year began with a Siberian cold followed by severe spring frosts, then storms and hail. A beautiful flowering and a very hot August (4.5°C above normal) made it possible to obtain a high degree of alcohol and a sustained acidity. Elegance and finesse characterise the very fine 1997 vintage.

Like all wines, champagne can be kept for varying lengths of time, depending on the type. Under optimal storage conditions, champagne can be kept for 1 to 2 years for Brut cuvées, and up to 4/5 years or even longer for vintage and prestige champagnes. Whatever happens, rest assured that you'll never be able to open your champagne too early, as the Champagne Houses only release their cuvées when they have reached perfect ripeness and are ready for immediate consumption.
Chardonnay 50%, Pinot Noir 50%. The Crus: Pinot Noirs from the Montagne de Reims (Bouzy, Verzy, Verzenay) and Chardonnays from the Côte des Blancs (Mesnil, Cramant, Oger, Chouilly).
