Veuve ClicquotRosé Magnum (1.5L) | Naked Bottle
Veuve Clicquot Rosé Magnum is a cuvée for every moment of pleasure, a fresh, structured, gourmet champagne. The Magnum format is a large bottle with a capacity of 1.5 liters, which represents 2 bottles of champagne or 12 glasses. This large format is ideal for receptions, parties, cocktails, dinners and all gift-giving occasions.
After shipping Rosé Champagne in 1775, the first known date for shipping this kind of wine, Veuve Clicquot is once again creating an event with Veuve Clicquot Rosé.
Veuve-Clicquot Rosé has a luminous color, with seductive pink highlights.
On the nose
The nose is generous and fine, initially dominated by aromas of fresh red fruit (raspberry, wild strawberry, cherry, blackberry), evolving towards notes of dried fruit and cookie, pastries: almond, apricot, brioche.
In the mouth
The attack is fresh, then gives way to a fruity harmony. The wine is balanced in the purest Maison de Champagne style, placing it in the family of rosés imbued with elegance and breed. The magic happens: the wine is delicious, full-bodied and tastes like a treat.
Delicious in its youth, "on the fruit", it expresses itself marvelously as an aperitif: to be shared for two or with friends.
Suggested ingredients: tuna, duck, shrimp, red fruit.
Suggested appetizers: Shrimp Roll with Sesame Grits, Tuna Sashimi on a Bed of Lemon-Marinated Avocado with Wasabi Sauce, Smoked Salmon Blini with Herb Cream
, Pastrami Tartar with Black Olive Tapenade, Camembert on Walnut Bread Toast, or Cherry Tomato Zakouski.
Recipe suggestions : Duck with Morello cherries, Salmon Tartar with Grapefruit and Avocado.
To appreciate all its finesse and aromas, champagne should be enjoyed chilled (but not iced). Depending on the cuvée, the ideal serving temperature is between 8 and 12°C.
Like all wines, champagne can be kept for varying lengths of time, depending on the type. Under optimal storage conditions, champagne can be kept for 1 to 2 years for Brut cuvées, and up to 4/5 years or even longer for vintage and prestige champagnes. Whatever happens, rest assured that you'll never be able to open your champagne too early, as the Champagne Houses only release their cuvées when they have reached perfect ripeness and are ready for immediate consumption.
A rosé expression of the Brut Carte Jaune, the Rosé has exactly the same structure: Pinot Noir intensity dominates at 50/55% and marks the style of the Maison Veuve Clicquot, Chardonnay finesse and elegance at 28/33%, and roundness thanks to a touch of Meunier at 15/20%. Veuve Clicquot Rosé is a blend of some 50 to 60 different crus. The proportion of reserve wines, varying between 25 and 35%, helps maintain the Champagne House style.
Veuve Clicquot Champagne wines are aged longer than required by law. Non-vintage cuvées are kept in the cellar for a minimum of 30 months, and vintage cuvées for 5 to 10 years.
