Ayala “The only historic Champagne House to offer a blended rosé with a majority of Chardonnay”. When it comes to blending and vinification, nothing is left to chance. The Pinots Noirs grapes come from the best Montagne de Reims vineyards, and here the focus is on fruit rather than structure.

    Ideal operating temperature

To appreciate all its finesse and aromas, champagne should be enjoyed chilled (but not iced). Depending on the cuvée, the ideal serving temperature is between 8 and 12°C.

    Potential of keeping

Like all wines, champagne can be kept for varying lengths of time, depending on the type. Under optimal storage conditions, champagne can be kept for 1 to 2 years for Brut cuvées, and up to 4/5 years or even longer for vintage and prestige champagnes. Whatever happens, rest assured that you'll never be able to open your champagne too early, as the Champagne Houses only release their cuvées when they have reached perfect ripeness and are ready for immediate consumption.

    Assembly :
Chardonnay, the House’s emblematic grape variety, is in the majority (51%), bringing freshness and finesse to this blended rosé. Pinot Noir (39%) and Meunier (10%) enhance the Chardonnay, bringing depth and roundness to the blend.

A small proportion of the red wine (6%) is made exclusively from Pinot Noir d’Aÿ, a Grand Cru marked by its legendary generosity.

The 24 crus that make up the blend have been rigorously selected for the brilliance of their fruit, the delicacy of their aromas and their silky balance.
    Vinification :
Each cru, each grape variety, each year is isolated to preserve the typicity of the original terroirs and enable high-precision blending. Stainless steel is used to bring out the purest expression of the grapes and restore the organoleptic quality of each vintage.

Ayala Rosé Majeur was aged for a further 3 years.
