Barons de RothschildBrut Nature Magnum (1.5L) | Gift box
The Barons de Rothschild Brut Nature magnum with case is a great wine of Champagne, sublimated by the absence of dosage. Unmixed, without artifice, the Brut Nature is distinguished by its harmony and its modern style, combining finesse and elegance. It is a delicate, mineral champagne, characterized by a great saline tension, arousing a lot of depth in mouth.
Limpidity and purity, silky robe with pale gold reflections and a very fine effervescence.
On the nose
The first nose is very pure and frank with minerality and salinity, accompanied by notes of white flesh fruits such as nectarine or peach.
In the mouth
In the mouth, the attack is fresh and delicate, revealing an elegant salinity, all in tension. With a great aromatic richness, its natural sweetness reveals freshness and delicacy, without bitterness. The finish is very rich, precise and juicy.
This wine will go perfectly with a carpaccio of scampi and scallops with yuzu lemon. It will also sublimate a medallion of veal accompanied by fresh pasta with white truffles. For dessert, it is a perfect accompaniment to a few lemony mignardises.
It is recommended to serve this wine around 10 °C.
Like all wines, champagne can be kept for varying lengths of time, depending on the type. Under optimal storage conditions, champagne can be kept for 1 to 2 years for Brut cuvées, and up to 4/5 years or even longer for vintage and prestige champagnes. Whatever happens, rest assured that you'll never be able to open your champagne too early, as the Champagne Houses only release their cuvées when they have reached perfect ripeness and are ready for immediate consumption.
60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir.
A small proportion of the Chardonnay is vinified under wood.
The cuvée is composed of more than 85% of Grands and Premiers crus, mainly from Mesnil sur Oger, Vertus and Trépail for the Chardonnay (with a small proportion of wines vinified in barrels in Avize); Aÿ, Verzenay and Ambonnay for the Pinot Noir.
True to the Barons de Rothschild signature, 40% of the wines are reserve wines, the majority of which are perpetual reserves.
Exclusive use of the vintage (first press).
Vinification by parcel.
Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks and a small proportion in barrels, malolactic fermentation.
Long maturation on fine lees for 6 to 7 months.
Ageing on lees: 4 years minimum.
Rest after disgorging: 6 months.
