A balance of finesse and power, Brut Carte Jaune reflects Veuve Clicquot’s vineyards and the continuity of its style: the dominance of Pinot Noir ensures the structure typical of the Champagne House’s wines, while a light touch of Meunier completes the roundness. Chardonnay gives it the elegance and finesse needed for perfect balance. The Magnum format is a large bottle with a capacity of 1.5 liters, which represents 2 bottles of champagne or 12 glasses. This large format is ideal for receptions, cocktails and dinners.
    To the eye

Beautiful color, golden yellow highlights, abundant, fine mousse.

    On the nose

Powerful, pleasant nose, initially fruity (white fruit, dried fruit), then vanilla and brioche.

    In the mouth

On the palate, the attack is frank and dynamic, then gives way to a fruity harmony.

    Food & champagne pairings

The Brut Carte Jaune is both a remarkable aperitif wine and an ideal companion for a champagne dinner.

    Ideal operating temperature

To be consumed between 10 and 12 °C.

    Potential of keeping

Like all wines, champagne can be kept for varying lengths of time, depending on the type. Under optimal storage conditions, champagne can be kept for 1 to 2 years for Brut cuvées, and up to 4/5 years or even longer for vintage and prestige champagnes. Whatever happens, rest assured that you'll never be able to open your champagne too early, as the Champagne Houses only release their cuvées when they have reached perfect ripeness and are ready for immediate consumption.

    Assembly :
With 50-55% Pinot Noir, 15-20% Meunier and 28-33% Chardonnay, the blend of Brut Carte Jaune is characteristic of the Veuve Clicquot style, marked by a predominance of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay over Meunier. The proportion of reserve wines, varying between 25 and 35%, helps maintain the Champagne House style.
    Vinification :
Veuve Clicquot Champagne wines are aged longer than required by law. Non-vintage cuvées are kept in the cellar for a minimum of 30 months, and vintage cuvées for 5 to 10 years.
