Description

Laurent-Perrier has always favoured Chardonnay as the majority grape variety in all of its cuvées and was a precursor of the Brut Nature category as early as 1981 with the Ultra Brut cuvée. Only the Coteaux de la Montagne de Reims and the Côte des Blancs planted with Chardonnay have been selected and picked at perfect maturity with low acidity to be used in the blend of this Blanc de Blancs.

A perfect mastery of vinification and maturation in stainless steel tanks allows Laurent-Perrier to produce this Brut Nature champagne (no added sugar, no dosage).

Tasting notes

A white colour with a fine and persistent effervescence.

A mineral nose with citrus notes.

After a lively attack, this wine expresses itself on the palate with a very balanced presence to finish with a fresh and lemony finish.

The Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature is a gastronomic wine that goes well with the finest fish dishes, such as sea bass in a salt crust, scallops, squid marinated in lemon, thyme and olive oil, cooked on a plancha.

Ideal serving temperature : Serve between 9°C and 11°C.

Vinification : Laurent-Perrier Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature is a blend of Chardonnays from Chouilly, Cramant, Avize and Oiry (terroirs classified as Grand Cru in the Côte des Blancs) and from Tours-sur-Marne, Villers-Mamery and Rilly La Montagne (terroirs classified as Premier and Grand Cru in the Montagne de Reims). A perfect balance between the wines of the year and the reserve wines must be achieved before the wine is put into the cellar. After ideal ageing in the Laurent-Perrier cellars, the wine is disgorged without dosage.
