Charles HeidsieckBlanc de Blancs Bottle (0.75L) | Naked Bottle
Charles Heidsieck Blanc de Blancs is the perfect marriage of opposites: purity and generosity. This 100% Chardonnay champagne is elegantly taut, mineral and silky, generous and fleshy. Ideal as an aperitif, it brilliantly combines two opposites: the tension and freshness of young Chardonnays with the generous silkiness and patina of “Charles Heidsieck”. It is mineral and silky, generous and fleshy. Its aromatic complexity is the hallmark of Charles Heidsieck wines.

The first impression is of a pale, crystalline gold with some of the reflections typical of the Chardonnay grape.
On the nose
Ripe Chardonnay aromas emerge: vine peach, candied citrus, with hints of lime blossom, honeysuckle and fresh hazelnuts. A second nose reveals subtle notes of tangerine and lemon.
In the mouth
Freshness and tension are wrapped up in this typically Charles generosity: the attack is frank, pure, without aggressiveness, with a smoothness almost atypical for a Blanc de Blancs often described as more angular than creamy. The balanced finish is surprisingly mineral and saline.
Charles Heidsieck Blanc de Blancs is ideal with Carpaccio of scallops with citrus fruit, St Vaast n°2 oysters, and young Pecorino cheese.
To appreciate all its finesse and aromas, champagne should be enjoyed chilled (but not iced). Depending on the cuvée, the ideal serving temperature is between 8 and 12°C.
