Pommery Apanage Blanc de Noirs is ideal as an aperitif or during a meal.
    To the eye

Pale gold color with pearly and slightly amber reflections, signs of delicacy and maturity. Exceptional shine. Effervescence of great finesse.

    On the nose

Remarkably elegant, the first nose reveals subtle and airy floral notes (acacia flower, peony) quickly enveloped by sweet sensations of mirabelle plum, crushed strawberry and frangipane. Hints of vanilla and sweet spices complete the complex aromatic range of this wine.

    In the mouth

The attack is pure with very elegant creamy notes. The floral notes detected in the nose are found in the mouth to give flavors of acacia honey. The heart of the tasting is intense, ample and fleshy. Hints of pear, red fruits and spices, reminiscent of the Timur berry, are intertwined. The mineral texture reflects the exceptional terroirs that make up this blend. The perfect balance of the finish is highlighted by a delicate note of blood orange.

    Food & champagne pairings

Pommery Apanage Blanc de Noirs is a delicious accompaniment to a tapas-based aperitif or Portuguese rissois. It is also enhanced by a wide range of delicacies during the meal, such as risotto with white truffles, roast poultry or Japanese tempura.

    Ideal operating temperature

To appreciate all its finesse and aromas, champagne should be enjoyed chilled (but not iced). Depending on the cuvée, the ideal serving temperature is between 8 and 12°C.

    Potential of keeping

Like all wines, champagne can be kept for varying lengths of time, depending on the type. Under optimal storage conditions, champagne can be kept for 1 to 2 years for Brut cuvées, and up to 4/5 years or even longer for vintage and prestige champagnes. Whatever happens, rest assured that you'll never be able to open your champagne too early, as the Champagne Houses only release their cuvées when they have reached perfect ripeness and are ready for immediate consumption.
