Since 1979, faithful to the requirements of its inspirer Louis Pommery, the Cuvée de prestige of the House Pommery is issued from the best parcels of the vineyards of the 3 Grands Crus of Champagne: Avize, Aÿ and Cramant. By taking the time to choose the best parcels, by waiting the necessary time before harvesting, by picking only the best bunches, by selecting the purest juices during the pressing, Maison Pommery manages to reveal the full potential of the vintage, while preserving the identity of the terroirs of the three Grands Crus that make up Cuvée Louise: Ay, Avize and Cramant. The Magnum format is a large bottle with a capacity of 1.5 liters, which represents 2 bottles of champagne or 12 glasses. This large format is ideal for receptions, dinners, special occasions and gifts. Its luxurious box makes it the ideal wine for all your tasting occasions and gifts.
    To the eye

The wine is exceptionally bright, with hints of green. The effervescence is fine and delicate, revealing a long aging in the cellars of the House of Pommery.

    On the nose

The nose is rich, generous and silky, with spicy touches and floral notes.

    In the mouth

The mouth expresses notes of hazelnut and frangipane.

    Food & champagne pairings

With its complexity and structure, the 2004 Cuvée Louise is a perfect match for a multitude of delicate dishes, from the simplest to the most sophisticated.

    Ideal operating temperature

To appreciate all its finesse and aromas, champagne should be enjoyed chilled (but not iced). Depending on the cuvée, the ideal serving temperature is between 8 and 12°C.

    Potential of keeping

Like all wines, champagne can be kept for varying lengths of time, depending on the type. Under optimal storage conditions, champagne can be kept for 1 to 2 years for Brut cuvées, and up to 4/5 years or even longer for vintage and prestige champagnes. Whatever happens, rest assured that you'll never be able to open your champagne too early, as the Champagne Houses only release their cuvées when they have reached perfect ripeness and are ready for immediate consumption.
