Moët & ChandonBrut Impérial Bottle (0.75L) | Gift box
An emblematic Moët & Chandon cuvee since 1869, Moët & Chandon Brut Impérial is its most accomplished and universal expression. This vibrant, generous champagne is distinguished by its bright fruitiness, luscious palate and elegant maturity.
Good to know: Refreshment should be gradual to avoid “breaking” the mousse and bouquet.
An elegant, golden yellow color with green highlights.
On the nose
Its dazzling nose reveals white-fleshed fruit (apple, pear, white peach) and citrus (lemon), complemented by floral nuances (lime blossom) and blond notes (brioche and fresh walnuts).
In the mouth
Subtle on the palate: Tasty and mellow on the palate, combining generosity and subtlety, full and savory, then crisp and delicately fresh (pome fruits), it embodies the balance of champagne.
From aperitif to dessert: with sushi or oysters, roast free-range chicken and its herb jus, or a fine white peach tart with white chocolate cream.
To be consumed between 8 and 10 °C.
Like all wines, champagne can be kept for varying lengths of time, depending on the type. Under optimal storage conditions, champagne can be kept for 1 to 2 years for Brut cuvées, and up to 4/5 years or even longer for vintage and prestige champagnes. Whatever happens, rest assured that you'll never be able to open your champagne too early, as the Champagne Houses only release their cuvées when they have reached perfect ripeness and are ready for immediate consumption.
Moët Impérial is a perfect blend of over 200 crus, in which the three Champagne grape varieties complement each other harmoniously: 30 to 40% Pinot Noir, 30 to 40% Meunier, 20 to 30% Chardonnay. 20-30% of specially selected reserve wines complete the blend, enhancing its maturity, complexity and consistency. Only the incomparable richness of Moët & Chandon’s soils allows such subtle and complex elaboration.
Full-bodied, generous and dynamic, Moet & Chandon wines benefit from the expertise of our oenologists at every stage of the winemaking process. The systematic use of malolactic fermentation naturally ensures a slight reduction in the classic acidity of Champagne wines, which can block access to other sensations. The palate is softer. The systematic use of Pinot Meunier in the blend brings its juicy, fleshy texture, drives and highlights the richness of the Chardonnay and results in beautifully mature wines. Maturation, about twice as long for each cuvée as the legal limit, enriches and softens the wine. A dosage precisely adapted to each cuvée provides the final touch to refine the whole.
