The Prestige Extra Brut Premier Cru is presented in the Prestige bottle developed in 2006 by Duval-Leroy for its premium wines. The glass selection and the thin neck have been designed to protect the wine from the light and from gas exchanges.

Tasting notes

A light yellow colour with brilliant silver tints. A very creamy persistent cordon. Fine strands of bubbles.

Complex aromas of hawthorn, honeysuckle and lemon tree opening up to notes of almond, toast, a touch of sandalwood and some red fruit notes.

The first mouth is delicate and lively, its length is deep with an elegant and fruity vinosity.

Food pairings

This champagne is ideal with sushis or herb braised lamb.

Ideal serving temperature : Serve between 8 and 10 °C.

Blend : 65% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir.
Crus: Côte des Blancs, Vallée de la Marne and Montagne de Reims.

Vinification : Reserve wines: 50%, 50% vintage 2014
Age of the vines: 35 to 45 years.
Fining: No.
Filtration : Yes.
Yeasts: Saccharomyces Cerevisiae.
Sulphites: low sulphiting.
Alcohol content : 12%.
Regular stirring every 2 weeks was carried out to re-suspend the lees.
Malolactic fermentation.
2% of oak vinification 24 months minimum.

Ageing potential : 3 to 5 years

Dosage : 5 g/litre
